Rate Limits

Rate limits control how often you can use AiSpace features. Your limits depend on your token tier and apply separately to chat and image generation.

How Rate Limits Work

Rate limits prevent abuse and ensure fair usage for all users:

  • Chat limits: Reset every 24 hours
  • Image limits: Reset every 24 hours
  • Video limits: Reset every 24 hours
  • Separate counters: Chat, image, and video limits don’t affect each other
  • Automatic reset: Limits reset automatically when the period ends

Rate Limits by Tier

Max Tier (13,000,000+ tokens)

  • Chat Messages: 1,000 per day (up to 32 on premium models like Claude, GPT-5)
  • Image Generations: 100 per day (up to 32 on premium models like Recraft V4 Pro)
  • Video Generations: 10 per day (up to 5 on premium models like Sora, Veo)

Pro Tier (8,000,000+ tokens)

  • Chat Messages: 500 per day (up to 20 premium)
  • Image Generations: 50 per day (up to 20 premium)
  • Video Generations: 5 per day (up to 3 premium)

Plus Tier (5,000,000+ tokens)

  • Chat Messages: 300 per day (up to 12 premium)
  • Image Generations: 30 per day (up to 12 premium)
  • Video Generations: 3 per day (up to 2 premium)

Lite Tier (3,000,000+ tokens)

  • Chat Messages: 200 per day (up to 8 premium)
  • Image Generations: 20 per day (up to 8 premium)
  • Video Generations: 2 per day (up to 1 premium)

Free Tier (No tokens)

  • Chat Messages: 100 per day (up to 3 premium)
  • Image Generations: 10 per day (up to 3 premium)
  • Video Generations: 1 per day (standard models only; premium video not available)

Premium Model Limits

Expensive models (Claude, GPT-5, Gemini Pro, Recraft V4 Pro, Sora, Veo, Kling Pro, etc.) consume a separate daily quota in addition to base limits. This “tier within a tier” prevents abuse while keeping standard and budget models generous. See Token Tiers for full premium quotas.

Understanding Limit Periods

Chat Message Limits (24-hour window)

  • Window: Rolling 24-hour period
  • Tracking: Messages sent in the last 24 hours
  • Reset: Automatically as old messages age out
  • Example: If limit is 300, you can send 300 messages, then wait for the window to reset

Image Generation Limits (24-hour window)

  • Window: Rolling 24-hour period
  • Tracking: Images generated in the last 24 hours
  • Reset: Automatically as old generations age out
  • Example: If limit is 30, you can generate 30 images, then wait for the window to reset

Visual Indicators

When you’re near or at your limit, AiSpace shows:

  • Remaining count: How many actions you have left
  • Countdown timer: Time until next action available
  • Visual warnings: Color-coded status indicators
  • Upgrade prompts: Suggestions to unlock higher tiers

What Happens When You Hit a Limit

Chat Message Limit Reached

  • Message blocked: New messages won’t send
  • Countdown timer: Shows when you can send next message
  • Clear message: Explains why sending is blocked

Image Generation Limit Reached

  • load_image button disabled: New generations won’t start
  • Countdown timer: Shows when you can generate next image
  • Helpful message: Explains limit and upgrade options

Tips for Managing Limits

  1. Plan your usage: Space out requests over time
  2. Upgrade your tier: Higher tiers have better limits
  3. Use separate features: Chat and image limits are independent
  4. Monitor your usage: Watch the countdown timers
  5. Wait for reset: Limits reset automatically as periods roll over

Upgrading to Higher Limits

To get better rate limits:

  1. Acquire $AISPACE tokens: Purchase tokens to reach tier thresholds
  2. Hold in connected wallet: Balance determines your tier
  3. Automatic upgrade: Tier updates when balance changes
  4. Enjoy higher limits: New limits apply immediately
