AiSpace Bot Shop
AiSpace Bot Shop is the Discord app that helps you import / install public characters from the Bots gallery into a Discord server. Characters are public personas available through Venice.ai; AiSpace does not sell those bots or their intellectual property.
For web chat with the same personalities, see the Bots guide. For privacy-safe usage stats (creators / auditors), see the Bots API.
What you are paying for
When a one-time unlock fee is enabled (commonly $0.99), that charge is a facilitation / install fee for:
- Binding the character to one Discord server you choose
- Running the Bot Shop Discord integration for that install
- When paid unlock is on, seeding starter credits into that server’s shared pot
It is not a purchase of the character, a license to the persona’s IP, or exclusive ownership of the bot. Free unlock mode may be enabled by AiSpace operators. Free installs can optionally seed a small starter credit (operator-configured; often off or a taste amount like about $0.01 of credits) so users get instant feedback before topping up.
Your responsibility: You must ensure you have the rights to use a given public character in your server (copyright, trademark, publicity, platform rules). AiSpace does not verify creator permissions or copyright status of third-party characters. See Terms of Service.
Add a character (install)
- Open aispace.bot/bots
- Pick a character and click Add to Discord (or Discord on the card)
- If payment is required, complete the unlock checkout; if free unlock is on, continue without card payment
- Choose one Discord server where the character should be installed
After install, the Bot Shop app is invited (or already present) and that character is available in the selected server. Paid unlocks seed starter credits into that server’s shared pot. Free unlocks seed only when operators enable a free seed amount (otherwise the pot starts empty until someone tips).
Using bots in Discord
Mention the app with the character slug, then your message:
@AiSpace Bot Shop <slug> your message hereUseful slash commands:
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/characters | List characters installed for this server |
/help | Short usage help |
/credits | Show this server’s shared credit balance |
/visualize | Generate an image from a character’s latest chat moment (name picker) |
You can also right-click a character message → Apps → Visualize to image that specific moment.
Server credits
Credits are a shared pot per Discord server (not per user):
- Anyone in the server can use installed characters while the pot has balance
- A paid install fee seeds starter credits into that pot (when that path is enabled)
- A free install may seed a small trial balance when operators configure it
- Anyone can tip more credits from the Bots Server Board (support a server)
- Use
/creditsin Discord to check the current balance
When the pot is empty, top up from the Server Board before chatting again. Usage is metered as numbers only (tokens / credits) for server billing and optional creator audit — not message content. See Bots API.
Server directory
Servers appear on the AiSpace Server Board by default so others can discover and tip them.
Admins with Manage Server can control listing:
| Command | Effect |
|---|---|
/directory opt-out | Hide this server from the public directory |
/directory opt-in | Show this server on the directory again |
